There's a mountain ledge over in Brazil that's causing a stir online, people flirting with danger to nail the perfect Instagram picture.

There’s a certain smug satisfaction that comes with seeing tourists who come to Cape Town losing their marbles at the spectacular views on display.

There’s that Chappies lookout, Cape Point, a beach shot or three – and of course all the Table Mountain shots.

That’s all good and well, but can we offer the same danger thrill as Rio’s Pedra da Gavea, a mountain towering approximately 840 metres above the city? Here’s Huffington Post:

According to people who have done it, it’s just as scary as it looks.

“It’s not an illusion,”Julianna Oliveira, the hiker in the photo below told the Huffington Post. “We must be very careful.” She also said having a good photographer is key to capturing the right angles.
