If You’re Tired Of Missing Good Surf In Cape Town Check This Out

Muizenberg is Cape Town's most popular surf spot, visited by beginners and masters alike. But how can you tell what the waves are like before you get there?

There’s a webcam based in Muizenberg that has been watching the waves for years, allowing surfers to log on to the interwebs in an effort to figure out whether it’s worth the mission.

But there’s a slight problem.

The camera sits on a building across the railway line, making the distance from the camera to the sea quite far – and the image quality is pretty average.

I mean, you can get better views sitting up at Tiger’s Milk. Their whole front section looks directly over Surfers Corner, which is why the Tiger’s Milk Classic was judged from inside the restaurant.

It’s no wonder that the ‘dude food’ gurus popped up a webcam of their own then, giving you the chance to watch the wave situation from a much closer, and better perspective. Check:

Updated every minute, that’s the view from Tiger’s Milk‘s webcam which you can find HERE. But how are you even surprised when this is what it looks like from inside:

How divine.

Imagine sitting there, sipping on a lekker locally brewed draft after a decent surf. That’s the least they deserve for providing such a solid webcam, surely?

With their pizza, burgers, and ribs Tiger’s Milk has a great selection of ‘dude food’ from 12PM-2AM. Surf’s up, my guys and girls.
