  • Why Didn’t Anybody Tell Us About These Alcoholic Popsicles Sooner?

I’ve been going around this summer thinking I had it down.

I’ve done sundowners on the beachfront, taken walks on the promenade, and spent days stretched out on white sands next to blue waters.

    Nailing it, right? Wrong.

Sometimes you discover something that changes everything. It’s that key ingredient that pushes a good thing over the edge, turns it up to 11, and makes it all a little more awesome.

I’m talking about the genius combination of ice popsicles and alcohol.

Until recently, I didn’t know such a thing existed, which I’m chalking up to a deep personal failure on my part.

Seriously, you have not lived your best summer life until you’ve incorporated Frost Popsicles into your plans. One simple idea, combining three of everyone’s favourite things – sun, alcohol, and popsicles.

The entire Frost Popsicles range is made from all natural ingredients, is low in calories, and contains no artificial flavours, colourants or sweeteners.

With the exception of the Vanilla Coffee Popsicle, all the other Frost Popsicles flavours are dairy-free and vegan-friendly.

Yeah, you read that right. There’s a Vanilla Coffee Popsicle. It’s made using milk powder, a pure Madagascan vanilla extract, and a gourmet coffee blend from Avanti Coffee.

In other words, it’s basically heaven.

Also, can we have a moment for all of the boxes that got ticked up there from low-calorie to vegan? It’s guilt-free fun … one of life’s great rarities.

On to the alcoholic flavours, because that’s what we’re (I’m) here for.

For purists like myself, the original wine infused Tranquille and Brut PJ Pops are a great substitute for a glass or two on a sunny day, and we’re just getting started.

The Passion Fruit & Peach Margarita Popsicle is made with 100% natural peach and passion fruit flavour extracts. You can also treat your palate and up the sophistication with the Blood Orange Screwdriver Popsicle.

If you’re the adventurous type, you may want to try the Pomegranate, Grapefruit & Hibiscus Popsicle – a surefire hit for hot summer days.

If alcohol isn’t your thing, or you don’t want the kids to feel left out, you can also stock up on the non-alcoholic Peach, Strawberry & Banana Popsicle.

here’s a pro tip – both the non-alcoholic and alcoholic popsicles are a great substitute for pre-drinks or desserts at summer weddings, family gatherings and braais.

I’m going to stop here, because you need to stop reading and start living your best life.

Visit the Frost Popsicles website to stock up, or look out for them in a retailer near you.
