Capetonians are celebrating the rain.
Not only because it means that the province’s dam levels are rising, but because yesterday’s rain ended in some pretty spectacular rainbows.
As is usually the case with beautiful sunsets and cracking rainbows, Capetonians were kind enough to record the phenomenon with plenty of social media posts.
Here’s SA People:
The week got off to a fabulous start in Cape Town, South Africa, where a drizzly dawn was transformed by a bright double rainbow that seemed to stretch across the entire Mother City.
Several Capetonians stopped on the side of the road to snap photographs of the exquisite double rainbow as it lit up their day, creating a colourful buzz on social media for the rainbow nation.
Double rainbow…all the way around. It’s almost a triple rainbow.

It’s the small things that can make a Monday better. Given that you’re reading this on a Tuesday, those too.
Please don’t go back to posting gym selfies, good people.
