What’s occupying the time and minds of Twitter users this week?
Parallel parking.
Twitter user @Mrhflrs (above) started this madness in a Twitter thread on Monday evening that documented the apparent difficulty of finding parking in Koreatown, Los Angeles.
Here’s Mashable with the backstory:
The silver car, on the right (team #silvercar), is blocking the black car (team #blackcar) from parallel parking into a sought-after street parking spot in LA.
Those hashtags will make sense later.
In short, this is high-stakes parking choices and even higher levels of passive aggression.
The story doesn’t end there. @Mrhflrs dedicated the next hour to updates, which is when the internet got involved by choosing between team #blackcar and team #silvercar.

Even celebrities like Chrissy Teigen got involved:

Spoiler – someone parked their car.
