  • Get This R40k A Month Clifton Beach Pad For Summer

Well done on making it through one of the gloomiest winters on record.

I refer not to the weather, which played its part, but to that deadly pandemic and being cooped up inside our homes.

Technically, it’s not summer yet, but we are edging ever closer.

Also, we haven’t declared summer open, which is just as crucial.

If you want to get a little jump on the season, though, don’t let us stop you snapping up this two-bedroom, R40 000 a month, fully furnished flat in Clifton, listed on Seeff and available from November 1.

You could chuck a frisbee onto the beach from that balcony. I’m not saying you should, but you could.

For a cool R40 000 a month, I want views and luxury living, so let’s see if this one delivers the goods:

With modern finishes and a homey feel, this apartment is the perfect beach home. White american shutters throughout with lovely finishes. The open plan kitchen and lounge area leads out onto a large terrace, overlooking the Atlantic Ocean.

Both bedrooms are en-suite, with access to the terrace from the main bedroom.

    One secure parking bay available.

Pet friendly on body corporate approval.

A reminder that Clifton parking bays can go for more than R1 million a pop, so don’t scoff too loudly at the mention of one.

One last look at the balcony view:

Big fan of the hammock and the surfboard is a nice touch.

You’re not actually going to use the surfboard, but it’s part of the vibe.

Kind of like that guitar you have in the corner of your room that you never play, but when people come over they might think it’s something you do in your spare time.

Why not double up and have a non-functioning surfboard on the wall and a guitar you never play in the corner?

You’re paying R40 000 a month and living it up this summer. Treat yourself.
