I’m sure many of us are a different ‘shape’ to the one we went into the hard lockdown with last year.
Whether that’s the ‘worst shape’ is relative.
The same can be said for Will Smith, who thanks to lockdown restrictions, is now rocking a ‘dad bod’, as the kids would say.
Via The Daily Mail, Smith just posted a snap of himself on Instagram, striking a pose and rocking tiny black shorts and a boep.
This came after the first post of him in a similar outfit, posted two days ago, with the caption “I’m gonna be real wit y’all – I’m in the worst shape of my life“.
Despite his reputation for looking good in movies like I, Robot and I Am Legend, people are on board with his new look.
“You’re Will Smith!! You can be in whatever shape you want,” musician Sonna Rele commented.
“I see no “worst” here,” said Ava DuVarney.
“This is the most amazing post in the history of social media,” Questlove wrote.
“You look good!” Amy Schumer added.
After months of lockdown restrictions, he is vowing to get fit and “FEEL better” again by beginning his fitness journey, set to be documented in an upcoming YouTube project.
“This is the body that carried me through an entire pandemic and countless days grazing thru the pantry.” he said on Instagram.
“I love this body, but I wanna FEEL better. No more midnight muffins…this is it!”

Per TODAY, Smith has been fairly busy during the pandemic, despite the alleged pantry grazing:
He’s been working on a big-budget film called Emancipation, a thriller about runaway slaves and last year he participated in the Fresh Prince of Bel-Air reunion, which aired on HBO Max in November, ending a 27-year feud with the original Aunt Viv, Janet Hubert.
Multiple reports indicate Smith is also slated to be in a few upcoming sequels that will likely require him to be in action-star shape – Bright 2 and Bad Boys 4.
Take Smith’s body positivity as a reminder that you can get back on track when you FEEL like it, folks.
