I vowed never to go to a music festival again after someone popped my yoghurts all over my sleeping bag and tent, forcing me to shack up with my fellow campers, curled up in a sorry-for-myself ball against the edge of the wet tent wall all night, freezing and fed-up.
Miserable.
Others seem to have a magical time, though, which is nice.
This year at Rocking the Daisies, despite there being no major international headlines (like in previous years before the COVID-19 pandemic), the venue area was pretty packed with partiers and their makeshift homes.
You can see the crowd vibing up top with Kay Faith, a Cape Town DJ or “KAAPSTAD’s Dr Dre” as he likes to call himself.
The Cape Town three-day festival was held at Cloof Wine Estate on Friday, October 7, concluding at SuperSport Park in Centurion on Sunday, October 9, noted Knowledia:

I probably should have done what most people do at Daisies and partied the night away instead of attempting to vacate to my yoggie-soaked bed, but alas, we live and we learn.
Or do we? Because a few adults walked away from the weekend with a little less than they came with, forgetting their IDs, bank cards, car keys and the like on the grounds.
RTD was kind enough to post about the lost items, hoping they would be reunited with their owners at some point:

The festival organisers also posted on Twitter:

Many are baffled at how some okes made it home, while one commenter made a telling observation: “Is it just me or are we all noticing there are lots of irresponsible Standard Bank cardholders ”
Another quipped about how these lost items might have impacted one’s job on Monday:
Rocking the daisies posted their lost and found with photos of bank cards and IDs.
