Hunter Biden Spotted Strolling Around Sea Point Since Secret Service Detail Was Terminated [Images]

Riding shotgun in a rental and dodging headlines, Hunter Biden resurfaces in South Africa while Republicans gear up to probe his dad’s alleged cognitive cover-up.

Hunter Biden popped up in Cape Town on Friday, casually strolling through the Mother City with his wife, Melissa Cohen Biden, and their son, Beau Jr.. I guess cruising Sea Point in a rented Toyota sedan is the new way to remain low-key?

That Toyota, as Fox pointed out, is a far cry from the armoured black Chevy Suburbans he used to roll in before Donald Trump decided to pull the plug on his Secret Service entourage.

That move came back in March, when Trump, in full Trumpian fashion, axed Hunter’s detail, just after President Joe Biden had extended it indefinitely. Normally, Secret Service perks expire for presidential kids once they hit 16. But hey, the Bidens like their exceptions.

Hunter’s downgrade from motorcade to mid-range rental came as he returned, once again, to South Africa for some downtime. Apparently, Cape Town is the new Camp David.

He was spotted on Sea Point Main Road, rubbing shoulders with the locals, paying for parking, and even popping into a butcher’s—just your average bloke grabbing some boerewors. No agents, no entourage, just a man, his family, and his desperate attempt at normalcy.

Judging by the pics, it’s painfully clear: the Secret Service isn’t tailing him anymore.

This public outing also marks Hunter’s first sighting since his father, former President Joe Biden, dropped his public cancer announcement. Timing, as always, is everything.

Meanwhile, back in the States, Republicans are sharpening their pitchforks. They’re diving headfirst into a fresh investigation into what they’re calling a “conspiracy” around Biden Sr.’s mental decline because nothing screams transparency like digging into an 82-year-old’s cognition.

Senators Eric Schmitt of Missouri and John Cornyn of Texas are leading the charge, plotting a Senate Judiciary hearing for June 18. The focus will be on alleged media and insider cover-ups shielding Biden’s decline from the public.

They’re still wrangling witnesses, but if all goes according to plan, this will be the first full congressional committee hearing on the topic.
