Reeva Steenkamp has been killed. She was shot at least twice. Some reports indicate four shots. A coroners report is yet to confirm the number of wounds.
Oscar Pistorius has been arrested and charged for Reeva Steenkamp’s murder.
Police have indicated that previous incidents of a “domestic nature” have been recorded at Pistorius’ residence.

Allegations of a love triangle between Steenkamp, television producer Quinten van den Burgh and Pistorius have been reported, previously.
Pistorius has been documented to engage in recreational shooting, and has publicly expressed anxiety at the prospect of a home invasion.

Brands including South African television broadcaster have immediately distanced themselves from Pistorius, swiftly removing links to YouTube videos on their channels featuring Pistorius, and even going so far as to remove billboard advertising from highways.
Oscar Pistorius will spend the night in a protected cell (away from other inmates), and will appear in court at 09h00 tomorrow, where the allegations will be tested.
Police will be opposing bail, and will pursue a charge of murder against Pistorius.
