Here’s Glen James. He’s an american guy who lives in homeless shelters because a health condition prohibits him from working. Glen found a backpack with about $3,000 (R28,000) in cash, and $40,000 (R370,000) in traveller’s cheques outside a mall at the beginning of this week. He did the the natural thing, and handed the bag in to authorities. Wait, what?
Correct. Instead of pocketing the cash, he handed it in, and the bag was returned to its owner.
James received a citation from the Boston police department for his radness, which is when the internet found out about him. A guy named Ethan Whittington set up a GoFundMe.com page for Glendog. At the time of writing, Glen had $92,659 to his name. The goal is $250,000.
