This online tool allows you to keep up with the Jones’, Tshabalala’s, Botha’s, and Naidoo’s voting habits. The Know Your Hood tool provides you with the voting demographics and statistics of a certain neighbourhood. The statistics and data are based on ward results from the 2009 general elections.
The tool, hosted on the Mail&Guardian website, also lists the top five parties voted for in the 2009 general elections for neighbourhood specified in the search. The South African general elections are around the corner, and this online tool provides a quick and easy way for voters to check up on the ward results for the previous elections.
