Ole Juju really does know how to stir the pot. During his Parliamentary speech, the EFF leader responded to President Jacob Zuma’s state of the nation, and as you can expect, things got heated.
Julius Malema took the topic of black empowerment and debated for it head-on, and there were a few calls-to-order during his not-so-eloquent speech.
Malema was even reprimanded for refusing to refer to Higher Education Minister Blade Nzimande as “honourable” and interrupting house chairwoman Thandi Modise herself.
Another highly-contested issue was that Malema called for the removal of the statue of the first prime minister of South Africa Louis Botha on a horse displayed prominently outside the parliamentary gates.
Malema then complained that the calls-to-order took time away from his speech when his 15-minutes finally came to an end.
