Veteran comedienne Joan Rivers is known for delivering some shocking punchlines, but her latest gag about Reeva Steenkamp may have been a little off-sides this time.
During her show Fashion Police, where Rivers and a bunch of other celebrities comment on the latest fashion trends of Hollywood, Rivers was commenting on pop star Christina Aguilera’s highlighted red hair, and said the following:
The last time I saw a blonde with red streaks in her hair she was laying on Oscar Pistorius’ bathroom floor.
While a terrible joke, this wasn’t Rivers’ first Pistorius-themed punchline, as she once said about a star’s choice of shoes: “I have not seen footwear this f-up since Oscar Pistorius wobbled to the witness stand”.
Rivers also referred to one particular outfit as a bad idea that “falls in between marrying Charlie Sheen and using Oscar Pistorius’ bathroom”.
