Hipsters of Cape Town, you’re about to find your ultimate paradise in a city already-packed full of great hangout spots for the beard-loving, classic-music adoring crew.
Woodstock Exchange‘s new bar, The Golden, has announced that it will be holding Solid Gold Saturdays – and it’s as awesome as it sounds.
Solid Gold Saturdays will be happening in the courtyard of the swanky creative hub, and Roastin Records will be digging in their treasure chest and playing some old-school vinyls, including some little known African garage bands – so expect everything from fela Kuti and the 70s Nigerian funk era to modern day Cape Town-based rock ‘n roll.
Solid Gold Saturdays will be taking place from 1pm-6pm on Saturday, 11 October. It is also soon to become weekly ritual.
