Hearing of problematic medical difficulties is always sad, but successful medical operations to fix said problems should be acknowledged too.
A 17-year-old girl named Grace from the Democratic Republic of Congo has been dealing with a massive tumor in her face for the past 10 years, and medical intervention was desperately needed.
Doctors have now removed the tumor but Grace required titanium plates in her bottom jaw following the surgery.
Dr. Gary Parker, the surgeon who operated on Grace says after a six-month recovery period, she will be able to get artificial teeth that will help with her chewing.
