Derick Watts & The Sunday Blues gained worldwide attention recently when they released their #StopTheKnot video, which has now been viewed almost five million times. That was largely thanks to Buzzfeed picking up on the video and showing it to a worldwide audience. That audience, it must be said, didn’t really enjoy the scissor attacks and had plenty of nasty things to say.
Now the duo have revealed that the video was, after all, a hoax. Why would they subject themselves to torrents of abuse across every social media platform? We’ll let them tell you themselves.
