It’s been a trying time for many South Africans recently and load shedding has honestly been a heavy test on relationships. It’s the whole “I’ll be ready in five minutes” situation. But no Eskom means you’re now 150 minutes late for whatever it is you were blow-drying your hair for. I for one love it. I am not one for being on time, and Eskom is a genius excuse that everyone understands. Happy days for all!
Sad news (which is really actually good news): No more excuses for me or you – there’s a new load-shedding app that is certain to make your life a whole load (…) easier.
Loadshed is going to change our lives, it seems. Imagine actually knowing when your Eskom is going to be off so that you can plan your life accordingly. Sounds like a dream, right? Never again will you get to Mano’s late and have to wait for a table (worst thing ever).
Loadshed gives you up to the minute Load Shedding information on multiple suburbs at one time and allows you to ‘watch’ different suburbs at the same.
You can add multiple areas to your watch-list so you even know when to really avoid going to the in-laws for dinner.
The app will send you notifications for when you’re about to be plunged into the dark ages so you have enough time to scramble around for that last box of matches.
