Stop the press, in a world with a population of around 7,3 billion people do we really care that two people who aren’t related look kind of alike?
I guess we do, because in recent months Taylor Swift’s doppelgänger has become somewhat famous Down Under and some exchange students in Germany became besties after people confused them.
It really tugs on the heart strings and makes one warm inside. Now meet Sara and Shannon, two fetching blondes who discovered each other on the site Twin Strangers. It’s safe for work, you can check it out if that’s your thing. Anyway Mashable can handle this one:
“My friends actually thought the picture of Shannon was me,”said Sara, when describing the moment she discovered her doppelgänger.
After they connected online, Sara travelled to Dublin to meet Shannon in person.
“I gave her a hug and then we just stood there like ‘Oh my God, this is so weird’,” said Shannon.
“Our noses, our eyes… we have the exact same ears… lips, expressions, pout, smile… it’s just weird.”
OMG, what a time to be alive.
