People Are Now Paying R11,000 For A Gold Pizza

There's a pizza out there that will cost you around R11 000 all because it has around 23 carats of gold flakes sprinkled across its top. Unfortunately, it comes with a thick base.

Got £500 just lying around? Sweet! That means you can get your hands on a 23 carat gold pizza. Yup, you read right, a 23 carat gold pizza, nogal!

The Gold Pizza is the mastermind of U.K.’s pizza chain PizzaGoGo and comes complete with a red carpet delivery and butler service. But that’s not all: the pizza is topped with shellfish and 23-karat gold flakes.

The shellfish isn’t just any shellfish though: The toppings include fantail prawns, beluga caviar and lobster as well as white truffle oil.

Apparently, customers will be shadowed by paparazzi so photos of patrons can be circulated on the Internet for friends’ and relatives’ enjoyment.

It’s like the golden ticket of pizza, but the extravagance is ridiculous. I mean, that’s some expensive diarrhoea going on. Personally, I’d rather have a Butler’s experience in the form of our very own local pizza delivery guys and definitely opt for the thinly-based The Rotherham. Instead of all that gold and shellfish, you get bacon, feta and salami. Waaaaaay preferable.
