It’s common knowledge that the cliffs in the British region are sliding away, placing houses that are on the edge into jeopardy. But a massive landslide that hit the edge of a steep cliff in Jersey just last week has left a newly occupied residential home partly uninhabitable.
Several rooms are now in danger after the northern shore of the island was hit by heavy rain and winds of up to 75mph; the tonnes of land that has swept away has left The Cheval Roc Residential Home with an uncertain future.

The home, however, is structurally safe, for now.
