If you ask someone who has lived in and around the city since the 1960’s they’ll have plenty to say about how things have changed. The thing is, do they have the pictures to back that up?
Property prices going through the roof, traffic becoming a major problem, tourists flocking to our shores – we sure do live in a different Cape Town than days of old.

In 1970, the city’s population was recorded at 1,114,000, and five years later it was put at 1,339,000.
