Tumbling through traffic and over pedestrians in the streets of Fuzhou, China, an inflatable replica of the Earth’s moon was sent off by strong winds from Typhoon Meranti.
The moon was intended for the city’s mid-autumn celebrations on Thursday, but had other plans.
The harvest festival sees families gather to look at the moon and eat moon cakes.
