The rumoured rift between Meghan and Kate is all the tabloids can talk about.
Ever since Prince Harry and Meghan announced their intention to move out of Kensington Palace, speculation has been on the rise that the relationship between the two royal couples isn’t that great anymore – especially because Meghan made Kate cry.
Ain’t no drama like royal drama.
Now Kate has made an effort to squash the rumours of a royal rift when she met with members of the public (read commoners) in Leicester.
According to The Daily Beast, her comments about Meghan and the baby were captured on a cellphone recording, and the video was later posted to Instagram.
The video was clearly recorded without her knowing because most of it is a close-up of her chest:
This marks the first public effort to deal with the rumours. The rift reportedly started last Christmas when Harry was annoyed that William had not, in his view, “rolled out the red carpet” for Meghan.
Now Kate seems determined to change public perception one Instagram post at a time.
