If you’re due to travel abroad, you’ll want to heed some advice on how to reduce your chances of contracting the coronavirus.
Washing your hands, wiping down surfaces, and other basic tips – it never hurts.
One thing you probably don’t want to do if you’re due to travel abroad or are the kind of person who becomes overly anxious after watching a movie is going anywhere near Contagion.
The 2011 movie, starring Matt Damon, Kate Winslet, Jude Law, and Gwyneth Paltrow, is back in the news after Paltrow joked on her Instagram account about a sense of déjà vu.
Her caption reads “En route to Paris. Paranoid? Prudent? Panicked? Placid? Pandemic? Propaganda? Paltrow’s just going to go ahead and sleep with this thing on the plane. I’ve already been in this movie. Stay safe. Don’t shake hands. Wash hands frequently. 😷”
Sorry, Gwyneth, but I stopped listening to anything you have to say after the release of your Netflix series.
For those who aren’t travelling, or enjoy a little skrik in the midst of a pandemic, here’s a synopsis of Contagion via Movieclips:
“Contagion” follows the rapid progress of a lethal airborne virus that kills within days. As the fast-moving epidemic grows, the worldwide medical community races to find a cure and control the panic that spreads faster than the virus itself. At the same time, ordinary people struggle to survive in a society coming apart.
