Facial recognition technology is advancing at a rate of knots, but not everybody is on board. The way it is used by law enforcement, as well as by governments keen to keep a close eye on citizens, has many troubling aspects.
We can write off the ‘5G causes coronavirus’ theories, along with the ‘Bill Gates vaccine microchip’ theory, as complete and utter nonsense, but many of the worries around the use of facial recognition are valid.
