Apple just released the first trailer for its new sci-fi series Constellation, and we’re already hooked.
The series will follow Noomi Rapace as an astronaut who “returns to Earth after a disaster in space — only to discover that key pieces of her life seem to be missing.” This creepy plot manifests as a succession of riddles – a strange piano, an unknown voice on a tape recorder, and other terrifying hallucinations.
The series also stars Jonathan Banks, James D’Arcy, Julian Looman, William Catlett, and Barbara Sukowa, but it’s Noomi Rapace that glues the whole “haunting” business together as she is shooketh by the one event after the other.
With a tagline like “Reality is a Conspiracy”, here’s hoping they wrap this up in one season, and not write themselves into an abyss like with Lost.
Constellation premieres with three episodes on February 21st, and new episodes stream on Wednesdays after that, so it’s either drip drip, or wait a few weeks and binge.
According to The Verge, the series is part of a ‘steady push into sci-fi for Apple TV Plus, which includes the likes of Foundation, Invasion, Monarch: Legacy of Monsters, Silo, For All Mankind, Hello Tomorrow, and Severance’.
