Every now and then, life hands you an opportunity so plump, it’s almost a freebie.
Are you innovative? Do you desire to make a name for yourself, and to contribute meaningfully to the economic and social growth of our country?
Do you realise that our potential for economic growth is massive, and therefore, the opportunity for you – the budding entrepreneur – to make a truly spectacular success of yourself is there, and is completely attainable?
Did you know all that? Sanlam knows that. And they’re dangling a golden opportunity right in front of your face. All you need to do is reach out and grab it.
And so arrived Sanlam, with Start Something Day, which could give you the break that you needed to make a success of yourself.
Like Liani Swanepoel. She’s a winner of entrepreneurial funding from Sanlam through the Start Something programme, and this is her story.
Liani is a happily married mother of three kids and lives in Hermanus. Her interest in painting only manifested itself a few years ago when she lost her grandmother. The experience left her with a need to express herself and this feeling drew her to painting. She considers all the happiness and success that her art has brought her as a result of that loss. To date her work has been commissioned by local and international private owners and galleries. She hopes to keep painting for as long as she can.
What are you waiting for? Get over to www.startsomethingday.co.za, and enter your bright idea on to the National Sanlam Start Something Day website. You could win the funding to make your idea a reality. And do it today. Because every day is an opportunity to start something.
