Driving Into An Apocalyptic Dust Storm Can Be Lots Of Fun
A massive sand storm, called a “Haboob”, wreaked havoc in Phoenix, Arizona when it came roaring through the desert like an apocalyptic nightmare on Tuesday night. The massive storm resulted in absolute chaos, delaying flights and causing power outages across the city.
Radar data of the storm reveals that the nightmare sent from above may have reached upward of 10 000 feet, and was around 50 miles wide in some areas. The storm originated in Tucson and is part of the yearly Monsoon season.
