  • Elle Macpherson’s New Boyfriend Has A Really Dodgy Past

    Wow, Elle Macpherson moves fast.

She’s just finalised her divorce, and now the leggy supermodel and businesswoman has landed herself another man.

However, her new beau is giving everyone plenty of reason to raise their eyebrows.

Fresh off her $80 million (R1 billion) divorce settlement from ex-husband, billionaire Jeffrey Soffer, Macpherson has a new suitor in her life – a British-raised doctor by the name of Andrew Wakefield.

Here’s a pic of the chap in question:

He looks a bit rough around the edges, but oh well, beauty is in the eye of the beholder, I s’pose.

Anyhoo, Macpherson was spotted packing on the PDA with Wakefield at an organic farm in Miami, Florida on Friday, July 13, where the supermodel is based.

    So what’s the problem?

Not so much the PDA part – it’s the fact that Wakefield was banned from practising medicine in 2010 due to his reputation as a controversial anti-vaccine campaigner.

You know, those people who get hot and bothered about vaccinations being the devil’s work? Yeah, Wakefield’s one of those peeps.

    News.com.au has the scoop:

Wakefield is a key player in the controversial anti-vaxxer movement, and was found to have falsely linked measles, mumps and rubella vaccines to autism…

After he published a controversial paper in 1998, vaccination levels dropped dramatically in the UK (from about 90 per cent to 70 per cent). His theories were discredited in 2004 after they were found to be based on “false evidence”.

While he cannot practice medicine in the UK, Wakefield [seen here with his ex-wife Carmel] — who has publicly supported President Donald Trump — now promotes his heavily criticised anti-vaccination views across the US.

    Great. Just peachy.

Of all the people to strike up a romance with, Macpherson – who’s into a super-healthy lifestyle – has gone and chosen a quack who supports a president that likes to overtake old ladies.

Ooh, girl. I think the words “bad choice” describes this situation perfectly, don’t you think?
