Sung to the tune of La Bamba

I presented you with a very brief piece about private schools the other day, which featured a pic of a black Lamborghini parked at the fields of one Cape Town private school.

Shortly after the article I started to receive emails from readers saying that the very same Lamborghini had written itself off on Kloofnek Road. The next day at Caprice I noticed the same black Lamborghini driving past (although there was a 4X4 obstructing our view). So either there were two identical Lambo's, or someone got their facts wrong.

It turns out it was a BRONZE Lambo that got WELL out of shape on Kloofnek Road. Here the pics of the result.

We chatted to the people's insurance broker, Richard Warwick Neville of Murrayclan Insurance Brokers and apparently, because the driver ran away, his state of sobriety at the time is irrelevant and the car would have to be paid out. Probably between three and four bar. I think we've all learnt a valuable lesson here.

UPDATE: We have received the following that came in on a group email. Pics from the scene of the accident - oooooh.... sorry wall.
