The report graded 26 metros from Stockholm to Santiago on business opportunities, culture, livability, and innovation. Johannesburg, the only African city on the list, came in at number 25 – basically beating only Mumbai. New York City, Toronto and San Francisco took the top three spots.
For the complete list and ranking system, have a look here. Each city’s best and worst qualities are listed inside each slide. For example: Tokyo ranks at number one in global corporate headquarters, but last out of all the cities in cost of living.
