Despite what our responsible and esteemed president said recently, about us all going to hell if we don’t vote ANC; it seems we won’t be burning for eternity after all.
Thabo Makgoba, the Anglican Archbishop of Cape Town, told a news conference on election monitoring that:
People won’t go to hell.
People have to exercise their right to vote and choose whichever party they want to vote for.
Zuma has, on more than one occasion, hinted at the fact that the ANC and the higher forces are quite close and you wouldn’t want to cross either. Zuma was quoted by The Times as saying:
When you vote for the ANC, you are also choosing to go to heaven. When you don’t vote for the ANC you should know that you are choosing that man who carries a fork… who cooks people.
When you are carrying an ANC membership card, you are blessed. When you get up there, there are different cards used but when you have an ANC card; you will be let through to go to heaven.
More recently the ANC has been throwing around statements about the ancestors not being happy with people who don’t vote ANC.
I think this whole thing is not being taken nearly seriously enough. It’s manipulation of the highest order and should not be tolerated in a democratic society… or should it?
