During a live broadcast of the recent anti-crime and government corruption protests in Buenos Aires, a news reporter got sucker punched by a protester from behind. Nestor Dib is a journalist with the local news channel, Canal 5 Noticias. His attacker was later identified as Nicolas Ayuso.
A news camera captured the moment Ayuso came up behind Dib and punched him in the side of the head. Ayuso then dragged Dib off camera. Police arrested Ayuso shortly after the incident. He later took to Twitter to defend his actions, alleging Dib and other C5N employees had been harassing him all afternoon. He also linked to a YouTube video showing the events leading up to the sneak attack in an effort to show that the altercation was not one-sided.
