On Saturday, during the final of Britain’s Got Talent, Simon Cowell got a slightly stronger negative reaction than he’s used to.
At the climax of Richard and Adam Johnson’s performance of “The Impossible Dream” the controversial judge was nailed by a volley of eggs. Natalie Holt, a viola player for the on-stage orchestra and previous contestant on the show interrupted the performance to take her revenge.
With a sinister smile on her face, Holt lobbed eggs at the judge.
Holt said:
I want to apologise to Richard and Adam for overshadowing their performance. I’ve never done anything like this before and in hindsight I have realised it was a silly thing to do,
Simon Cowell tweeted following the pelting.
I don’t think eggs should be allowed on talent shows. Discuss?
