During the 2013 RAF Waddington International Airshow that took place from 6 to 7 July 2013, a Royal Air Force Typhoon was flying lower than normal as it approached the runway. While photographers and tourists clambered to get the best possible picture and views, they were surprised when the jet passed literally overhead.
Spectators ran for cover and fell to the ground as the jet flew only a few metres above their heads.
The comments section on YouTube suggests that this may have been a low approach but it was not the lowest.
