As part of her ‘Let’s Move!’ initiative to tackle childhood obesity, the first lady of the United States, Michelle Obama, is making a hip-hop album. That’s right, the FLOTUS is going to make an album featuring the likes of Doug E. Fresh, Jordin Sparks, Matisyahu, Travis Barker, Ariana Grande, Ashanti and DMC.
The album, ‘Songs for a Healthier America’, is made in partnership with Hip Hop Public Health and the Partnership for a Healthier America, and will feature 19 tracks with titles such as ‘U R What You Eat,’ ‘Veggie Luv,’ ‘Mother May I?’ and ‘We Like Vegetables’.
Although she (unfortunately) doesn’t sing or rap on any of the tracks, she can be heard talking with accompaniment, as she does on the track ‘Everybody’.
