The Feud Between Woody Allen And Mia Farrow (And Her Son) Is Getting Messy

Despite winning a lifetime achievement award at the Golden Globes this year, not all is well with the Woody household.

Despite winning a lifetime achievement award at the Golden Globes this year, not all is well with Woody.

Allen was not present to accept the award, but his close friend and colleague Diane Keaton was on hand to do so. It was her acceptance speech that got everyone’s knickers in a twist:

Woody’s women can’t be compartmentalized. They struggle, they love, they fall apart, they dominate, they’re flawed. They are, in fact, the hallmark of Woody’s work.

Mia Farrow and Allen had  originally split up in 1992, when Farrow discovered that Allen had been having a sexual relationship with her 21 year-old adopted daughter, Soon-Yi. It was a relationship that didn’t really seem “weird” to Allen:

The only thing unusual is that she’s Mia’s daughter. But she’s an adopted daughter and a grown woman. I could have met her at a party or something.

But it doesn’t end there. That same year, allegations emerged that Allen had molested his 7 year-old adopted daughter, Dylan (who has now changed her name to ‘Malone’) Farrow. Which is why you can understand these tweets from the Farrows after Keaton’s acceptance speech.

Oh, Woody.
