Thank Poland For This Real-Life Star Wars Hologram Smart Phone [VIDEO]

What do all Star Wars geeks crave? Their very own Princess Leia hologram. This Polish company has already created a fully functioning hologram projector aptly named the Leia Display System, and they are busy developing a holographic smartphone.

Using laminar air flow and light, the smart phone project objects in mid air. Their current hologram projectors allow you to interact with the floating images, and literally walk right through them. The company is working on several smaller versions. They believe in five years they will have the Leia Display System hooked up to a smartphone.
