The famous filmmaker Wes Anderson is well-known for his quirky films that feature a large set of recurring cast members, iconic use of simple colours and whimsical musical accompaniments. Here’s a video showing that symmetry is another feature we should add to this list.

Wes Anderson is obsessed with symmetry. This video by Korean filmmaker Kogonada, shows just that. Scientists have said that people find symmetrical faces and bodies more attractive than non-symmetrical features.

We don’t know whether this is the reason why he uses a shitload of characters and props in the center of the frame or why we like his movies so much.
