Emails, apps, messages, taking pictures and watching funny internet videos, all take their toll on a phone’s battery. If you have been struggling with your iPhone’s battery life, check out these eight habits that will extend that ish.
A former Apple Genius and technician, Scotty Loveless, has some advice for iPhone users who are constantly running out of battery life.
Here are his 8 habits for a longer battery life:
1. Disable location and background app refresh for Facebook
2. Disable background app refresh for apps you don’t care about
3. Stop quitting your apps in multitasking
4. Disable push email temporarily
5. Disable push notifications for apps that annoy you
6. Turn off battery percentage
7. Enable airplane mode in areas of poor cellular service
8. Go to an Apple retail store – they have an ‘Extended Battery Life Test,’ which checks whether your battery is functioning correctly.
