Franschhoek is known for its wine, and the rich folk who can afford to buy property in the coveted nook in the Cape. Sir Richard Branson is joining the Franschhoek club by buying Mont Rochelle Hotel and Mountain Vineyard.
The Mont Rochelle Hotel and Mountain Vineyard will form part of his Virgin Limited Edition, a group of luxury retreats he owns across the world. Some of the other Virgin Limited Edition retreats include the tented safari camp, Mahali Mzuri in Kenya, Necker Island, and the Roof Gardens and Babylon Restaurant in London.
