Nature is incredible. More importantly, we should never underestimate an animal’s ability to experience emotions in the same way as humans may.
Take this elephant calf for instance. As its mother lay dying, the baby had nowhere else to go. It stayed with its dead mother and absolutely refused to leave her side – a clear depiction of the bond between mother and child, no matter what the species!
