For those of you who absolutely love sitting on planes for long periods of time, Qantas has launched the world’s longest longhaul flight.
But this non-stop A380 service from Sydney to Dallas/Fort Worth won’t see your knees hunched up against the seat in front of you – it’s pretty damn luxurious, pretty much like spending a night in The Mount Nelson Hotel, just less luxurious, without a pool and probably the best food in Cape Town – If you’re in business or first class, that is.
“Our customers also now have the choice of four cabins to both Los Angeles and Dallas/Fort Worth as we introduce our Marc Newson designed First Class Suites on the Dallas/Fort Worth route for the first time” said Qantas CEO Alan Joyce.
The flight takes 14 hours and 50 minutes to get from Sydney to Dallas/Fort Worth, but a longer 15 hours 30 minutes to return.
