Now that Jihadi John has been identified as Mohammed Emwazi, more and more information about his past is emerging.
Now footage has been found of a 15-year old Emwazi kicking a ball around at school. The video was shot at Quintin Kynaston Academy in St John’s Wood in May 2004, and shows the boy with a group of schoolmates playing a game of football.
Past pupils of the school who knew Emwazi have said that he was “on the angry side” and “always looked agitated”.
The thing is that he looked like a character not to mess with…if you say the wrong thing he might start on you. The whole year knew who he was, he was always a don’t mess with me kind of character.
Others have said he “wasn’t a particularly social young man” with claims that he was bullied and didn’t have many friends.
How does a kid go from kicking around a ball to beheading innocent people?
