This is a perfect case showing just how fed up South Africans are with our crime rate and, perhaps, the SAPS.
Yesterday, three men dressed as SAPS men entered a cellphone repair shop on the corner of Strand and Long Streets and robbed it. It is reported that gunshots were fired but no one was injured. The good news?
One of the suspects was ‘detained’ by bystanders while the other two suspects fled on foot, only to be caught by security less than five minutes later.
According to CapeTownEtc it has been “confirmed that CCID Security and City Law Enforcement helped detain the men”. Good work boys.
Hmmm… were they cops or not? And good for the public for standing up for our safety.
