UberX Celebrates First Birthday With 20% Price Drop

I reckon today is a day where you sit back in your chair, pull out a cupcake (I know you keep a secret stash hidden somewhere, and at the very least that quiet girl in the corner does) and sing Happy Birthday to UberX.

Yes, they’ve already been around for one year and my goodness are they worthy of a song (and a bit of praise).

How many times have you called UberX after a long day at work? How many times have you called UberX when you’ve had to ninja-bomb another obnoxious party? The amount of times I have called UberX to drive me home after I have missed my station on the train… countless.

In response to the incredible support us humans have given UberX, they have a little surprise for us…

To say thank you, UberX is dropping fares by up to 20% for the month of June.

What does that mean for you?

It means you can say goodbye to frosted windshields, bad hair days from sudden downpours, and those incredibly embarrassing inside-out umbrella situations.
