Oh you know you want to get in on this.
To celebrate The Day of Braai’s (known to some as Heritage Day) head over to the President Hotel in Bantry Bay for a rugby braai in the most stylish way known to Cape Town. Jeremy Clayton, General Manager of the President Hotel, breaks it down like this:
Everyone remembers the excitement of the ’95 Rugby World Cup – even if you were too young to be there yourself. And all of us have memories of South Africa’s great win in France in 2007. We know it is time for us to bring the trophy home, so we are showing all the matches on a big screen in the Senate Bar.
So head on over to celebrate the African love and support Namibia as they go up against the mighty All Blacks. The braai starts at 12:30 and ends around 15:00 and is just R150 for adults (children under 12 are half price).
Yum.
There are only 100 tickets available so it is essential to book – but if you want to make a long weekend out of it (because who’ll be going to work on Friday?) there is a Heritage Day Long Weekend discount of 25% – and that includes a free ticket to the Braai Day feast.
