As a youngster who grew up in Hout Bay we often had Watershed popping by Dunes restaurant, us kiddies shunted to the top of the sand dunes opposite the band, although that never stopped us rocking out with some classic air guitar.

Now it’s the turn of the folks at Franschhoek Cellar to play host to the band formed back in 2000. This incredibly talented four piece band has released four studio albums, two of them reaching platinum status and the other two achieving gold status. Watershed have won two SAMA awards for best pop album as well as four PEOPLE MAGAZINE awards for best SA band.

Now, THIS FRIDAY, they will play at the newly-renovated Franschhoek Cellar venue in support of their new album ‘Watch the Rain’. There are a couple of lekker prizes to be won for those booking a ticket, including a case of wine or a lunch/dinner for two.

In addition all bookings of 6 or more receive a complimentary bottle of MCC Franschhoek Cellar bubbles to kick things off, Watershed due to start playing from 8pm and tickets costing R145 (book HERE to avoid disappointment).

For those wanting to make a real night of it head over from 6pm and enjoy a three-course dinner at R150 per person. Those reservations can be made by emailing fhcellardoor@dgb.co.za or calling 021 876 2086.
