It was a classic case of David versus Goliath in California when a brave French bulldog took on three bears who wandered into its back garden.
The popular breed are more known for their Instagram accounts than their bear-fighting skills, although this video is doing the rounds and may inspire a new take on their watchdog capabilities. Sky reports:
The pet’s owner said bears and other wild animals began wandering into neighbourhood homes after fire affected food sources in nearby bushland.
The owner said he was proud of his puppy’s actions.
“It blew me away. I couldn’t believe that she turned into a wolverine,” he said.
OK you’re a proud dog owner, we get it, but wolverine might be going a touch too far.
